During this quick 20-minute consultation, I’ll answer a specific question and make recommendations or referrals (via phone call only). Unfortunately, due to the high volume of requests I receive, I now must charge a nominal fee for my time. Once I receive your payment, I will email you with available days/times. In 2006, I was recruited by a RE/MAX office in the Riviera Maya to work at Bahia Principe resort to sell golf course lots. At that time, I was a top-producing agent for the largest Keller Williams office in Dallas and was recruited by RE/MAX for international sales. While at RE/MAX, I had a portfolio of $400M of international properties I represented from Turkey to Panama to Costa Rica to Turks and Caicos to various locations in Mexico.
I moved to Riviera Maya and lived in Puerto Aventuras for almost 2 years. Once on property at the Bahia Principe sales office, I started a program/workshop to help people understand the process of buying property in Mexico under a fideicomiso, connected them with international and local moving companies, and other vendors to help set up their homes with furniture, housewares, appliances, etc.
When I returned to Dallas, I decided to take another path outside being a Realtor. I started a company that assisted real estate agents with their clients during a move. My specialty was those who were in emotionally stressful situations: retirement (loss of identity), loss of a spouse, disease, and moving internationally.
Since 2008, I have helped hundreds of clients move, including my father and his wife to Costa Rica in 2022, and spoken professionally to thousands of people on the same subject.
When I began searching for a single source of information to help with my move to Mérida, I couldn't find answers to all my questions. Therefore, I established Life in Mérida as THE resource for answers to all things Mérida. I've written 150+ articles for my blog and others. U.S. companies have hired me to write white papers when researching moving their businesses to Mérida. I'm fortunate to have been hired as an expert in this field.
