Thank you for your trust in allowing us to help you with a very difficult process. Purchasing a car in Mexico is quite a unique experience and one that requires patience and professional help.

Reliable used cars start at a MINIMUM of $150,000 mx (about $7,500 U.S.). This is the lowest price we recommend. If your budget is under $150,000 mx then you may be looking at some costly repairs sooner rather than later. Be safe and not sorry.

We offer 2 different services ($250 deposit with balance paid at the end of the purchase process):

  1. Regular Service: $500 U.S. (meeting at the dealerships)
  2. Premium Service: $600 U.S. (pickup and dropoff with Mérida - inquire for rates outside the city)

YOU WILL NEED:

  • RFC
  • Current address on file with immigration
  • Current driver's license (state of Yucatan or other country)

Who we work with:

We do not work with:

  • individal sellers UNLESS we know them personally
  • sellers on Facebook
  • out of state cars (this is a nightmare getting the license plates transferred)

What your fee includes:

  • personal assistance selecting a car (questionaire included)
  • accompanying you to each car lot, test drive, mechanic appointment, etc.
  • mechanical system check, tires check & second opinion, if requested/needed
  • one hour driving lesson
  • Mérida Driving Guide
  • internet research for any known issues by make & model
  • insurance quotes
  • help transferring ownership & license plates when they expire (does not include fees)
  • translation of any documents
  • copy of "Reglamento de la Ley de Transito y Vialidad del Estado de Yucatan" - MUST be kept in the car along with your circulation card & proof of insurance
  • Premium Service includes pickup and dropoff within Mérida

Starting with your first consultation, there is a 60-day purchase period. This timeframe can be extended at times. HOWEVER, it should not take more than 60 days to find a car for you.
